Well, well, well. We recorded and
filmed (yes, filmed with lights, cameras and everything) at the world famous BBC
Maida Vale studios yesterday. The room we were in was the size of the Royal
Albert Hall (well, it seemed that big to us). Certainly the biggest room we have
ever set foot in (in a musical kind of way).
Probably the most exciting thing about it all has got to be the fact that Mr Bing Crosby himself made his last recording in the very same room three days before he died. Rock n roll baby!
We managed to record and film four tracks in six hours, which considering the rate at which we work is pretty damn impressive.
Interview and songs will be played on the wireless soon, with videos going up on the BBC website aswell.
Will keep you posted as and when this happens. Will pop some photies up also very soon.
ps not sure about the BBC canteen food though.
